Les SuperSoul Brothers nous proposent une lecture du Rhythm ‘n’ Blues bluffante de vérité et de sincérité. Le groupe transpire cette musique comme s’ils étaient tous nés non loin de Memphis, nous proposant un album qui aurait tout aussi bien pu être enregistré au mythique studio Muscle Shoals, là où les Otis, Wilson et autres Sam & Dave ont forgé leur légende. Mais leur Sud béarnais est plus proche de nous bien qu’ancré lui aussi dans la tradition d’une terre de «good vibrations ».

The SuperSoul Brothers offer us a reading of the Rhythm ‘n’ Blues bluffing with truth and sincerity. The band sweat this music as if they were all born not far from Memphis, offering us an album that could just as easily have been recorded at the legendary Muscle Shoals studio, where the Otis, Wilson and other Sam & Dave forged their legend. . But their South Béarnais is closer to us although it is also anchored in the tradition of a land of “good vibrations”.
